Diamond Trading Company Botswana (DTCB) participated in the 2026 Botswana Consumer Fair, joining key industry partners, including Debswana Diamond Company, De Beers Global Sightholder Sales and Okavango Diamond Company, to showcase Botswana’s natural diamond value chain.
The exhibition provided an opportunity to educate the public on the journey of Botswana’s natural diamonds, from mining and sorting to cutting, polishing and the creation of finished jewellery.
DTCB’s participation reinforced the Company’s role within this value chain and its contribution to ensuring that the value derived from Botswana’s diamonds continues to support the country’s economic development.
The Consumer Fair also provided a platform for DTCB to engage directly with members of the public, strengthen awareness of its mandate and highlight the importance of Botswana’s diamond industry to national pride and prosperity.
Its presence was further recognized at the Consumer Fair Awards, where the Company secured second place in the Best Mining Category, reflecting the strength of its participation and contribution to the event.
