On 30 May 2017, DTC Botswana’s employees from the Medium Stones department donated clothing to Childline Botswana. As part of the company’s value of ‘Show We Care’ the team members in the department each personally contributed money towards to the purchasing of winter clothes for children resident at Childline Botswana.

DTC Botswana matched their funds contribution as per the Employee CSI programme. The employee social investment programme drives community project initiatives identified by staff members.

The idea of the programme came about after the realisation that some DTCB employees are engaged in fragmented and isolated community upliftment projects and thus do not receive the mileage they deserve. The employee community programme aims to consolidate all our efforts so that our contribution to the community is real, lasting and makes us proud.
