Standard Chartered Bank CEO of Kenya and Africa visits DTC Botswana

Yesterday, Mr. Sedireng ‘Sed’ Serumola, Managing Director of DTC Botswana, hosted Mr. Kariuki Ngari, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Standard Chartered Bank for Kenya and Africa. Accompanying Mr. Ngari were Mr. Mpho Masupe, CEO of Standard Chartered Bank Botswana, and Mr. Asuquo Nkposong, Head of Corporate Investment Banking.

During the visit, Mr. Serumola provided in-depth insights into critical themes, including the natural diamond pipeline, operational frameworks at DTC Botswana, and the broader landscape of the Botswana diamond industry. He also discussed the technological innovations that are currently being integrated into the sector. Particularly noteworthy were the opportunities identified for enhancing beneficiation processes and fostering increased collaboration across various industries to drive future growth.
